The RG Walk on rooflight range are manufactured for roof terraces and internal applications. They provide attractive and creative solutions for introducing daylight into buildings. Because of the 53.5mm thick glazing specification used, the unit achieves a 1.5kN/m2 concentrated load. As with our entire RG flatglass range, the unit is designed to be fitted to a builders timber kerb that is a minimum of 75mm wide. It also achieves an overall U value as low as 1.4 W/m2K. We would also recommend that the unit is installed onto a pitch of 1 degrees to allow rainwater to run off. The unit is also provided with a black painted border. This is designed to conceal your kerb detail when viewing the rooflight externally. When delivered, simply place the rooflight onto your preformed kerb and secure into place.

Technical Information

U value – As low as 1.4 W/m2K overall.

Glass specification – 53.5mm overall glass unit consisting of 31.5mm clear toughened outer pane, 16mm argon filled cavity, 6mm clear heat-soaked toughened low ‘e’ inner pane.

Weight load capability – Achieves 1.5kN/m2 concentrated load

Non fragility – TN66/67 Class 2 tested impact resistance.

Kerb – Designed to be fitted to existing kerb or builders timber kerb. Kerbs should be installed with a minimum recommended pitch of 5 degrees. A nominal thickness of 75mm is recommended.

Finish – Standard colour is slate grey (RAL 7015).

Delivery

Approximately 4 to 5 working weeks. Units are made to order.

Delivery is to kerb side only. Our driver will require assistance with off loading and someone must be present to sign for the delivery.

Please note that units can be very heavy and you will need to ensure you have the sufficient number of people on site to assist with offloading. Please speak to a member of our customer service team for further information.

All methods of lifting the unit onto roof (hoist/crane etc.) is the responsibility of the customer.
